BookLinker To Run Links Through GeoRiot
Seattle WA – February 6, 2015 – GeoRiot, the world’s leading link management company, has today announced the acquisition of BookLinker, which provides affiliate link management to authors and publishers promoting books within Amazon.
“We have watched BookLinker grow and do amazing things in the Amazon book space. We couldn’t be happier about acquiring their service.” said Jesse Lakes, CEO, GeoRiot. “Both GeoRiot and BookLinker have a very similar goal, so it makes perfect sense for us to team up. We’re hoping to improve some things with BookLinker using existing GeoRiot technology as well as learn a few things from their streamlined workflow to make GeoRiot better. Stay tuned for those improvements in the coming months.”
Both BookLinker and GeoRiot will continue to run separately, as each service is built for a specific audience. However, BookLinker will now use GeoRiot’s patented link translation service to significantly improve how clicks are handled from international visitors. BookLinker was created for independent authors, small book publishers, and bloggers marketing books to a global audience via branded short URLs and basic reporting.
BookLinker will remain free, and GeoRiot has no plans to change that in the future.
GeoRiot is geared towards online marketers who promote products (including books), across multiple online stores and need a powerful tool to help them with that marketing. With deeper reporting options, and advanced targeting to send consumers to different stores with the same link, determined by where they are and what type of devices they are using, GeoRiot is meant to fill more “advanced” needs.
GeoRiot is best for users like affiliate marketers, record labels, book publishers, commerce sites, and “power users” who want more control over their links and need deeper insights into their clicks.
BookLinker is a great tool for independent authors, or bloggers promoting books and authors on Amazon to international readers. The tool is perfect for users who don’t need extra features, and prefer a branded short URL that works across Amazon’s global network of storefronts and basic reporting.
BookLinker is best for independent authors, small book publishers, or bloggers who are marketing books and just want their Amazon links to work internationally.
GeoRiot provides industry leading affiliate linking capabilities to app developers, music labels and online marketers. With a single, unified link, global (Amazon, iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store) traffic, is directed to the appropriate, geo-specific item in a user’s local storefront to improve international user experience and increase conversions. Additionally, the GeoRiot service allows its clients to leverage the many country-specific affiliate programs simultaneously, to often double their revenue from international affiliate commissions. GeoRiot serves billions of clicks for thousands of clients worldwide.
BookLinker is now running all links through GeoRiot’s patented link translation service. This means better results for Amazon’s international stores, which means a better experience for your users, and more sales and downloads for you.
We know that people love BookLinker because of the intuitive way to build links, and the awesome URLs that you can use. As of today, we’re making the experience even better with a website face lift, while still maintaining the ease of use of the service. The site has the exact same functionality as before, but has been brought into this decade.
You’ll now be able to utilize GeoRiot’s support team with any questions you have. The BookLinker service is now supported by GeoRiot’s dedicated team of support gurus to make sure you have the best experience possible.
What’s Not Changing
Don’t worry – nothing will change with your accounts, whether you’re a GeoRiot or BookLinker user. Both services will continue to run separately as each is built for a specific audience (see comparison at bottom of this article to find out which service is probably suited for you). BookLinker will remain free, and you’ll still be able to use the service just as you have up to this point. The only difference you’ll notice is happier readers who are able to buy or read your books in more countries.
