My team and I purchase and test more than 100 pairs of running shoes each year, and we publish reviews and buying guides – all monetized through affiliate links. We are working hard this year to revive our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/runningshoesguru even though being a completely virtual and decentralized team, makes it a little complex.
I’m Thomas Schmeling and work at askgeorge.com. We are testing products with 30 people, live, at our rooms in Hamburg, Germany. We produce reviews, photos, 360° views and videos. We just had enough from all those empty product comparison sites, that only copy manufacturer and amazon details together. We partner with price comparison sites and manufacturers that use our test seals. We are very proud of the fact, that everything we write a review about, was actually tested and documented. And that we are completely independent from stores or manufacturers, nobody is interfering with the outcome of our tests. So far we’ve tested more than 120 categories with over 700 products. The next step is the European market, we now build our site in German, French, Spanish and Italian. English will be the next step.
