Who are you and what are you currently working on?
I am a wife, mom, Slytherin, tea addict, and ass kicker.
I am currently on working on launching do-it-together video marketing membership while continuing to produce my weekly podcast and two Youtube videos a week (oh and run my agency.)
How did you get started in affiliate marketing? What keeps you excited about it?
The first time I heard about it was when I started to work with Tubebuddy, your best friend on the road to Youtube success. I had heard of affiliate marketing before but it was usually around a product, but this was perfect. Online services are my jam I started to find new ways to add different services I loved to my marketing via affiliate marketing.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to a newbie affiliate marketer? And what is one piece of advice they should ignore?
Start by being an affiliate for a product you absolutely love and use first Never buy anything that will teach you to make money off of Affiliate marketing.
What has been your favorite mistake? A mistake that in retrospect led to a great lesson and progress in your affiliate marketing?
I ended up becoming a resource for Streamyard users who already had accounts so I couldn’t make any affiliate money off the 100s of thousands of view I had on my Youtube videos. But what I learned was that I had value to Streamyard and found a way to make money from them for being a resource.
What is one piece of software or a web service (besides Geniuslink) that allows you to be more effective as an affiliate marketer?
I use Trello to manage all my affiliate links and logins so I can easily access them needed.
How do you continue to educate yourself as an affiliate marketer? What are some of your favorite resources for learning?
I go to the school of Youtube on the regular and have built a great network of peers who are smarter than me that I get to learn from as well.
