For our fourth year in a row, we are excited to go back to Las Vegas in late January 2020 for the annual Affiliate Summit West conference. We are also looking forward to meeting up with new and old clients, making new friends with others that are passionate about the industry, and learning about the latest techniques and technologies in the performance marketing space.

We are also really excited about this year’s #ASW20 Running Club. Each morning, at the crack of dawn (6:15 am stretch/warmup, 6:30 am departure), we’ll be meeting up in front of the Paris Hotel with the fabulous Sara Szado, from the ASW Client Success team, to get our heart rate up and make new friends. Using a morning run as a way to network before a conference has been good for us during previous conferences and a tradition we plan to continue. If you can make it, don’t forget to ask about a Geniuslink sweatband!
Also, for the fourth year in a row, our co-founder and CEO, Jesse Lakes, will be presenting. This year Jesse is again diving deep into Amazon’s Associate’s program and exploring the big question of if we are seeing the end of the “Amazon Associates Era” and what might be coming next. The presentation goes in-depth in exploring Google Trends that shows that interest in the Amazon Associates program peaked in late 2017. In Jesse’s presentation, he’ll also examine Amazon commission rates over the past few years that have taken significant cuts as well as touching upon what feels like Amazon’s compliance ratcheting up on strictness. From the presentation, the audience should determine if these indicators might be the writing on the wall and that those with a single revenue stream of Amazon commission might need to be planning ahead.
