Developer Experience Engineer (CI\/CD + Kubernetes)<\/b><\/h2>\n

You will join the engineering organization focused on enabling our product teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing software. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will help build and evolve the systems, tooling, and processes that power our internal platform, ensuring engineers can ship quickly, safely, and with confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will be part of the platform team and work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to improve infrastructure, deployment workflows, and the day-to-day experience of building and operating our C#\/.NET services, while remaining hands-on in strengthening the foundation that supports everything we build at Geniuslink.<\/span><\/p>\n

What you’ll do<\/b><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Build and maintain CI\/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments across C#\/.NET services.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve developer workflows, deployment processes, and overall developer experience.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work with Kubernetes and containerized workloads to ensure reliable and scalable application deployments.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support and improve cloud infrastructure across DigitalOcean, Linode, and AWS environments.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Contribute to observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing) to improve visibility into system performance and reliability.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with monitoring, alerting, and incident response to ensure system health and uptime.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Help drive improvements to deployment safety, reliability, and operational best practices.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to reduce operational toil and improve system efficiency.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support cost optimization efforts by improving resource utilization and infrastructure efficiency.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Cross train and help support the SRE team on ensuring system health<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Location<\/b><\/h3>\n

    Remote: Our team has been fully remote since 2020. This is a remote position, and we are open to candidates worldwide. We have successfully worked with team members across the USA, Canada, South America, and Asia. Core working hours should align with our existing team\u2019s PST\/PDT (UTC-08) +- 3 hours work day.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our ideal candidate<\/b><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • 3+ years working with cloud infrastructure in a production environment (DigitalOcean, Linode, AWS, or similar).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience building and maintaining CI\/CD pipelines for production systems.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience supporting and improving deployment workflows for backend services (C#\/.NET preferred).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills working across engineering teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Nice-to-have experience<\/b><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Experience supporting .NET-based systems in production.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with MongoDB and RabbitMQ performance and scaling considerations.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Experience with infrastructure cost optimization.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure and deployment workflows.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Experience improving developer workflows, internal tooling, or platform capabilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
