An Interview with Brandon Hassler

Tell us about yourself and your channel.

My name is Brandon and I’m really just your average dad who loves technology and is lucky enough to have a YouTube channel (Tech Audit TV) that people watch. When I’m not creating content or obsessing over the latest tech deals, I can usually be found either hanging out with my wife and two kids, on a nice long hike in the Utah mountains, or playing some late night Warzone with my friends and community.

5 Tips to Double Your YouTube Affiliate Revenue

This is a guest post by Eric Worral about 5 tips on how to double your YouTube Affiliate Revenue.

I’ll be honest. I’m a little jealous of bloggers and their ability to drive traffic to their affiliate partners.

They have giant buttons, customizable links, sidebars, clickable images and even exit pops as ways to get clicks on their affiliate links.

With YouTube, it’s a little more difficult to get the click because YouTube wants their viewers to binge-watch videos… not clicking affiliate links.

In this post, I’ll provide 5 tips to help increase your CTR on your affiliate links on YouTube. If you can double your clicks you can double your revenue so let’s get to it.

Interview with Lee Zavitz

Tell us about yourself and your channel.

My Name is Lee Zavitz, and I’m a professional DP / Photographer in Toronto, Canada. The first time I picked up my parents’ VHS camcorder in the early 90’s I was hooked. In high school, I got into 35mm film photography and then moved to digital. I’ve always had the bug to create. I worked a few trade jobs after college but always had video/photography as a hobby doing little jobs for friends. Long story short, I quit my 9-5 job and pursued full-time freelance. I’ve been doing it professionally now for the last nine years. My channel is based on my love for photography, filmmaking, and camera gear. I do my best to show everything I can in real-world situations since I still work in the field. I find it hard to call myself a Youtuber because I’m still so involved in the industry.

An Interview With Curtis Judd

Tell us about yourself and your channel.

My name is Curtis Judd and I love sound and lighting for video. I learned photography with a 35mm film camera and spent afternoons at the university library, scouring the photography section when I should have been studying biology and mathematics. And what I learned over time is that lighting makes a bigger difference to making great photographs or videos than whether you have the latest or most expensive camera. And another thing which I learned once I started making video is that sound is a critical part of what makes a video great. So on my channel, we focus on learning how to make better lighting designs and better audio for video and films.
